When this fuse is removed does it not only power down the SARC but decrease the power the power steering pump uses? Does it reduce the hp draw on the engine?

You would need a UDP to squeeze out a little more power. I took out the fuse from my Gen III to get some more additional life from them.

It will free up some HP. To just make the struts in hard mode and keep the PS unplug the struts.

Anybody ever take one of these struts apart? Just curious?

Anyway, we were all standing around the car the other day bounce testing the front end. installing/removing the fuse and watching the difference. Pretty cool in my opinion. I really like the system. I plan on mounting a switch inside the car for "Race Mode."

If you want to reduce some HP drag, put a switch on the BAT light wire going to the back of the instrument cluster, a light blue with red or orange trace if I remember correctly. This will effectively open the ground field on the alternator removing it's drag off the engine. It of course also stops charging the battery so you of you really don't want to run it like that for more then a few minutes or your coils will suffer from the current and voltage loss. I posted a diagram up somewhere, thought it was here but can't find it at the moment.
