Ah ... I'm not trying to be an a**hole. But the word is "silicone" not "silicon". The latter pronounced phonetically as sil-i-kuhn.

Silicon is a non-metallic element that is used to make glass, semiconductor chips, and is the major component of sand in the form of silicon dioxide.

Silicone is a man-made polymer material made from silane monomers (Si-H-H ...) whose molecular weight can be varied to make substances with various viscosities - thin liquids on the low end and essentially rubber-like "solids" on the high end.

We all know where silicone is used besides hoses ==>> OO. Flexible outer layer filled with silicone liquid to "simulate" the real thing.

I just see this all the time .... "silicone implants" ... not "silicon implants". Same for hoses .... "silicone hoses".

If nothing by May 1st, I'm going to have to ask for a refund. Yet again, another group buy gone down the tubes...or in this case, hose.

Whats the status of this group buy? Are these hoses going to be made or not? You guys need to have give us some kind of time frame with this! Its been almost a full month since the buy was started, it appears that you only have 4 paid orders. At what point do you stop waitng for more paid orders and refund the existing payee's if you are not going to have them produced, or if they are going to be produced reguarless of paid orders when can i expect my parts?

holy crap. relax.

he has to have 10 PAID people to get it off the ground. not all of us were sitting on a couple hundred bucks for this. i still want in but i had to move things around as i had unexpected bills (ended up with a car i didnt want) and had to make adjustments.

it will happen and sometimes these buys take 3-4 months to make a turnaround. Samco has to tool to make our hoses as i KNOW they had nothing for us.
you should be ecstatic that we even get this chance.

I personally really don’t care about your finance adjustment problems or how you ended up with a car you didn’t want, It has absolutely nothing to do with me knowing when I am going to receive my already paid for parts!

I have been in other group buys dealing with Samco products, They do not have a really long tool up time, considering the stock hoses can be purchased from several different suppliers, they should have no problem duplicating them in short order! If you have ever seen how they make these hoses, it is not an elaborate process!

I am really tired of hearing how I should feel about some company making parts for the SHO. The stock hoses work fine! These Samco hoses were a novelty purchase, for a cleaner look as they really don’t provide any added performance over the stock units.
However, that does not mean Ii don’t want my paid for parts in a timely manner! I completely understand these things take time. If you go back and read my original post, that is what I am asking. How much time?

Now that being said, can I get some answers from a rep. from SHOSource?

well now, capt-e-tan *******.

with my situation, i was giving an example. its stated very clearly that 10 people are needed to get this buy off the ground. if your not happy with that, take your money back and bugger off.

Perhaps you might not understand. but NO company, is jumping at the chance to make parts for our car. most wont even touch us unless we have the money purchase every part they run off, simply cause they dont want to be stuck with parts for a car no one cares about.

im sure Samco could tool and spin these hoses off in a month. so if they went on and did it, and then no one bought any.. they are stuck.

how about having a little respect.

its not our fault that your illiterate and cant read the first post.

and last. if you want your parts fast, dont participate in group buys. in fact you should probably sell your SHO and buy a Honda Civic.

So calling people illiterate and harsh names you do not know, is respectful?

Your situation is an example of what, how you don’t have any money? As stated before your "situation" has absolutely nothing to do with me knowing when I am going to receive my already paid for parts!

It is stated very clearly!
"We will need 10 orders for each to kit to make them happen. Once we hit 10 we will start production". What is not stated clearly is, Are these hoses going to be made or not? Can we have some kind of time frame with this! It’s been almost a full month since the buy was started, and it appears that there is only 4 paid orders. At what point do you stop waiting for more paid orders and refund the existing payee's if you are not going to have them produced, or if they are going to be produced regardless of paid orders when can I expect my parts? As I originally asked?

If you not happy with me asking those type of questions and are not going to pay up and order your hoses so we can get this group buy going in a timely manner, why don’t you bugger off!

I don’t know you from Adam! Respect for one another in this matter is a non issue!

I never said I wanted my parts fast, but in a timely manner would be nice!

As for the rest of your useless comments! They do not provide any positive information or content and have no place in this thread!

Calm down both. Take it to PM's.

We appreciate the the support and questions.

We wait untill everyone gives up or it goes though. We can go for a few more weeks if need be. You can wait for as long as you want. We can give refunds if need be.

As far as expecting parts it depends on when we get enough orders. They do have the hoses and tooling can be made once we pay for them. It should be to long for everything to get done. I do not have an exact timeline.

As far as producing them we can check in a couple weeks to see if want to. More orders will make it happen.
