Saggy Butt!

My bumpers are sagging at the ends where they meet the fenders, causing gaps between the sheetmetal an the plastic bumpers. They are tight in the front and in the rear, but the sides do not match up to the fenders.

My car is a 91 plus.

Can anyone make a suggestion to get her back into shape? pcorn


P.S.: My white sideskirts and bumpers are kinda scratched and a bit discolored. They are perpetually dirty looking. Is there any good way to rejuvenate tham, or should I just get them painted?

Have you checked for the corners being attached to the clips on the Quarter panels. There is a little round thing that the corner of the bumper is suppose to slide on see if those are attached...

no clips. Where can I get those? Any specific part number, or just bumper clips? AutoZone?

Boneyard or eBay for body panels, perhaps a body shop for the clips. Not sure that auto parts stores would carry clips.

I had to do this a while ago.

I had a little bumper accident, and my right side hanger popped off its glue.

I tried regluing, that worked for about a month.

I ended up putting small screws into the hanger and into the interior bumper. So far its held up for 6 months +... I have noticed a small amount of sag, but only about a cm or less.

I went to a couple of auto stores today. One place said they could match up the clips if I could get one off of the car. I went around to every quarter panel... no clips. Where are they? Am I really missing ALL of them? The driver's side is nice and flush, but the rest are not.
