Pretty much the same as any SHO.

Using good oil and changing it on a timely basis. I change the oil in my SC about every 2k just for poops and smiles since oil lubes my SC.

Oh, the motor was refreshed when I dropped it in last year. I keep up on oil changes using nothing but Castrol Syntec 10-40. I just wanted to see if ya'll decreased the interval alittle due to increased cylinder pressures. I'm about to re-jet the car for a 125shot and wanted some reassurence on hitting it with that I suppose. Its performed great on the 80 shot though.

I put new rod bearings in the turbo SHO a few thousand miles ago, when that engine had araoudn 55-60k on it. They really looked quite good. Any other car, and I would have left them in.

For reassurance I would go ahead and change them again if you are upping to that large of a shot. Not too hard to do and not that expensive. My rod bearings in my 94 have about 20K on them NA and I will be doing them again within the next few miles for that extra assurance.

The s/c cars put more stress on the bearings, so make sure you stay on top of them. This is an almost bullet proof engine, less the rod bearings, so try to stay on top the weak point.
