I have read about sho's running cool before, but my car runs very cool.Someone once told me to simply change the thermostat, but after i installed the new one it was the same thing. Is there a good chance my temp gauge is off? Could it be that my fan always stays on? It kinda sucks cuz I cant tell if the motor is getting to normal temp because of the fan. Yes ,even when the eatc is off the fan still is on,and the relay is good. Could this be a major problem??

The temp gauge could be off. You can get a new temp sender and try replacing that and see what happens. You can also run your codes just to see if all is ok. Check link in my sig..

What temperature thermostat did you install? The MTX uses an 80C (176F - 180F is close enough) 'stat and the ATX uses an 88C (190F) 'stat. If you have the correct temperature setting thermostat installed, the temperature sender, mounted below and forward of the thermostat be a few inches, may need to be replaced. You can get this Borg-Warner WT386 from O’Reilly for $3.99.

Even if the radiator cooling fan runs continuously, which it does with the climate control on any setting other than OFF, VENT or FLOOR, it is the thermostat's job to limit the lower temperature of the engine coolant. The fan is designed to keep it from getting any hotter than the upper setpoint.
