So i just got in my car, turn it on and it sounds like I put new exhaust on it. Loud and deep. The sound seems to be coming from one of the cats but i'm not sure cause I haven't jacked it up yet. A few months ago I replaced the plugs and wires cause it was misfiring so I'm wondering if the cat is messed up from that or if it is something else i don't know about. I like the sound but I don't need my car to catch on fire, or do some crazy ass shit like it usually does. i've been there and done that waaaay too many times. This might be kind of hard to understand so I might go and take some video so you guys can see it. Thanks for any help in advance.

Check:

Y-pipe to Cat-Back Donut ******. #1 source of exhaust leaks, and that sounds like the case there.

Another to check are the manifold-y-pipe flanges. Soak them with PB Blaster, back them off, and re-torque. Check to make sure one of the studs didn't break.

I dont see why not. Unless you broke a spring bolt (another thing I thought of) but even then it shold be fine.
