Started the job around 6pm, and was done by 1am, with an hour break for food, and about another hour trying to get the SHOshop y-pipe to fit without leaking, which we failed to accomplish. Looks like the stock pipe is going back on.. ****, I didn't want that extra 1.7 hp at the crank anyhow.
Seems like the bearing damage is minimal. The crank showed no signs of issues, nor did the rods. My only concern is the stuff that's floating around in the engine, I did flush the oil pan clean and put a new filter/oil in. I also took a few pics, but good pics are hard to get of those bearings.
I'm tired, sore, and find myself wondering how long will RTV gasket stuff stay in hair..
