Agree. I have found OEM is mostly superior to aftermarket. I used to think differently but over time I think this is true

How do I return the original defective battery now? The second replacement showed up, undamaged thankfully, and when I attempt to contact you about the original I get an automated response saying the order has been closed. WTH?Hello,
We apologize on behalf of the shipper. You can easily set up a return/exchange of the battery via our Order Status & Returns page. This information is also on the order and shipping confirmations you would have received via email.
Thank You!

It's almost like you didn't even read what I posted. I swear I will never order another thing from you. I'm tempted to file a dispute with my CC company and let you guys eat the money I'm out.Hello,
That would be accomplished via the Order Status & Returns page. Please review the return instructions and other messages we would have sent you as well for more details.
Thank You!

I've had rockauto just give a credit when they listed and shipped a gasket set probably for a thunderbird.
Battery, don't know why you would buy online. Napa put mine on the tester that showed cca was bad and pro rated a new one, service you won't get online.
Maybe you can use your pull to get someone to refund me the money I'm out. Hahahaha! They just don't give a rip. Your time will come with them, eventually. When a company goes to 100% no-contact (phone, email) policy, you can bet they simply don't care about customer service/satisfaction.Sorry to hear of the issues. Personally no issues, and I do a few grand a month with @RockAuto, would be nice to get some even better discounts hint hint
Or that's the way they are able to offer better prices is by not employing people to sit at a desk and wait for your call. Automation = Cheaper. However, if you want that nice comforting human interaction, you have to pay the extra for it. I guess I missed it or don't understand but, why didn't you return the first one as soon as you received it damaged? Even most brick and mortar stores have a return window regardless of damage or faulty condition.Maybe you can use your pull to get someone to refund me the money I'm out. Hahahaha! The first battery was fine for about 6 months and then failed. RA's return policy requires you to either send the defective one back and wait for a replacement, or purchase a new one and then return the bad one when the replacement arrives. I chose the latter option and the replacement they sent was all beat up as I showed in the OP. So they sent a replacement for the replacement, but for whatever reason, the shipping delays both times caused the original ticket to be closed. Except the reality is it worked fine for them for literal years but all of a sudden they decided that it was best for THEM not to offer you customer service. It is all in the name of profits as usual and there isn't a single reason i've ever seen/heard in my life how this could possibly be better for us. But carry on belittling us because we just want a nice comfy human interaction for our soft as baby **** selves.Or that's the way they are able to offer better prices is by not employing people to sit at a desk and wait for your call. You can get AGM batteries for cheaper online than anywhere local and I checked four places. I too used to feel the same way.I've had rockauto just give a credit when they listed and shipped a gasket set probably for a thunderbird.
