So I've been looking for new rims for my 97'. I was wondering what kind of rims you guys have put on. From what I've read the bolt pattern is 5x108, so can I just put on 5x108 rims on there and be ok or is there more to the offset than that. I think I'm going to stay with 16s or maybe go up to 17 but I'm not sure yet. If you guys could give some input or put pics up of sizes that would help me a lot.

Sorry for being a newb too lol

I've had 16s, 17s and 18s on my SHOs. Currently am running 18s on the blown Gen 3 and have some 17s off of my '99 that I will put on when they are slick. Which is getting closer by the day. My 18s are 235/40ZR18 and my 17s are 245/45ZR17.

18x8. 38 offset. Fronts rub on hard bumps now that it's lowered.

The style isn't everyones cup of tea, but they look so different in person. I've never gotten anything but compliments in person. No sarcasm and snickering behind my back. They make the car feel completely different.

Have had nothing but compliments on these rims and are priced great.

I also put about $3000 into the suspension. Replaced EVRYTHING. Car is a dream!

Hmm I like the black rim choice. Now, you've got me thinking I may have to go bigger than the 17s I planned on getting.

If you get a wheel and tire combo that is much heavier than stock, you should consider upgrading the brakes too.

Thanks for the heads up Bob, I have been looking into that as well.

Danny.

I was wondering that too, I don't even have close to that space with the 16in slicers that are on it now.
