I plan on powder coating my extra set of 17X7.5 TD semi gloss black to go on my 1991 SHO. The wheels are pretty scuff up anyway. I will be charged $65 per wheel. If I go gloss black, $15 per wheel more to cover the extra prep time.

Bob, what model are those???? are they discontinued???

FWIW, I'd go with a light silver (lighter than the slicers) that way they are white-ish appearing, but easier to clean.

and thats coming from a guy with black rims on his White 91. :bonk:

EDIT: if you look in my avatar, you can see how glossy my rims are. :thumb:

The wheels are Team Dynamics Cosmos. I don't think they make them anymore. I think the wheels power coated semi-gloss black will look good on the SHO. I plan to mount competition tires 225/45ZR-17. The overall diameter will be smaller, but that will help with acceleration.

I hate you... I have 7 of those cosmos and there flipping sweet 4 are polished aluminum (they just look amazing) and 3 are silver but there all 16 x 7.5 i want 17's... and you don't by any crazy chance in **** have a 16x7.5 in any finish do you? or know someone. Iv been trying to complete my set for a while now.

As far as rim color if your car is white go with while slicers they look amazing on a white car.

Edit: the polished aluminum ones are brand new never been mounted with tires or anything just test fit on my car. I cant wait till summer when i put them on. I just had them drilled to my bolt pattern for the sho a few months ago as they were blanks for a long time.
