Welcome to the wide world of SHOs young shogun. The original equipment six-spoke "slicers" are only 6" wide and will not adequately support a tire wider than a 225/55-16. This size keeps very close to the original diameter (needed for suspension geometry and speedometer accuracy)will give the car more rubber on the ground and a more purposeful appearance with possibly a slight sacrifice in transient response due to the bowed tire sidewalls.
