My battery light has been on since i replaced my battery last year. The car's charging system works fine. Does anyone know how to reset that light ?

Back in Michigan ... again.
You may also want to pull the power plug off the alternator and clean the connections in there. I had the same problem on a 93 MTX one time and corrosion had build up in the plug on the alternator. Some electric cleaner and a little q-tip action fixed it right up.

Hmmm, Thanks for the replies. I'm trying to rationalize what is happening. The system is charging and there is a plug that goes to the alternator. If the system wasn't charging i'm all over something wrong with the connection. What i'm fuzzy on is what specifically is causing the battery light to remain on.... ? A bad ground in the plug ?

thanks PHil

I've seen this problem several times, inside the alternator is a Rectifier this device turns the battery light on when it see's less than 9volts or more than 15volts.This can falsely trigger the light to come on even though it is charging normal.Your choices are:Replace the alt,Remove alt & replace the Rectifier inside,or live with the light.
