I work at R&E Dearborn and I have seen a white Gen II with some chromies at the proving grounds in the track area. Anyone here???? I have also seen a red Gen II on the R&E side. That would pretty cool if it was someone here.

There's a really nice Red gen 2 in my neighborhood (dearborn heights) with yamaha badges, rims, and a license plate that says RED SHO...ironically.

There's my red gen II over off commerce, and I work with a guy who also has a red gen II, and I also work with yet another guy who has a black gen III.

Of course, we prefer to drive the GT500s

Well, I got word today that I actually get to take a class this coming thursday and then after get to go out and drive on the track. This should be pretty fun.....at least Im hoping

I worked at DPG as a test driver on Midnights from 92 to 95. also worked on the dyno chassis,testing for EPA certification at CTL, before they moved the operation to APTL.

dang, I didn't realize there were so many SHO guys at Ford. I also know a guy at the PDC in Body CAD with me that has a red genIII and I've seen a really clean black gen2 and a red gen2 in the large lot across from the PDC, closer to the R&E building.

Hey typhoon.....I have seen the red Gen III and red Gen II. There is also a NICE looking white Gen II that hangs out alot on trackside. I have even seen the car in center track. I am in charge of the fire systems on trackside so I spend alot of time over there.

Also, Ya have any idea on where to get any of those posters with the two Shelby Mustangs on them? They are ALL OVER PDC but I cant find a stack of them anywhere.

Yea, I got me one of those, but I actually got it from a friend of mine at a Ford Dealership I used to work at.

Although I did however get to see the clay model of the Shelby with his autograph on the hood. That was pretty cool.

That's Ron, him and his son Ian was at the Convention. Very nice guy, his car looks great too!

I talked with him only once many months ago. It was kind of stalkerish on my part because I saw his car turn on a side street in my neighborhood and decided to turn as well. Sure enough he was parked at a house and saw me roll by so I decided to stop and chat it up with him for a minute.

He sure is a nice guy, always waves whenever he sees me on the road.
