Replacing CCRM, is this normal? Pics inside

Hey, I put on my new EEC and noticed a relay and a bunch of wires all taped up...looks like someone has been here before...

Just want to know if anyone has anything like this and maybe a schmeatic so I know which wires do what?

That's not the EEC, it's the CCRM. You're right though, somebody has messed with the wiring.

CCRM, and that's definitely not kosher.

looks like someone cut/spliced some of the CCRM wires & added a relay. The CCRM is just a bunch of relays. Inside CCRM are relays for fuel pump,fuel injectors,AC clutch & rad fans. Maybe look for the manual switch for that relay. Either the relay is to replace a non-fuction relay in the old CCRM OR to give a manual switch to one of the CCRM's functions. Some people have added a switch for the rad fans?

Looks like someone tried to bypass the ccrm (maybe the fuel pump) with a relay.

Hit me if you need anything I have a CCRM connector with some wiring , plus a ccrm if its a code J (its on it)

you would only have to cut and splice.

let me know , im like an hour from your place.

Ya, maybe I'll take you up on that...I don't understand these cars very well and it's frustrating lol...

I have a new CCRM, but I suspect the connector is in trouble...

I'm out of here for the weekend, but maybe next week, I'll gladly spring for lunch and beers along with any parts that I might need.
