Hello all.Has anyone had any difficulty in replacing the nylon cord and antenna? I heard it takes anywhere from 10 minutes to 45.What is the easiest way to do it? Is it easier to buy the whole unit and plug it in? Thanks!

I'm not really sure what you mean by Nylon cord.

My first time replacing the antenna was a breeze. Taking it out of the yard car was much more difficult. This is for the motorized type, but I'm not sure if all SHOs came with that.

you can remove it through the top pretty easily, the only problem is you may have some broken pieces inside that chew up your new cord. on my old SHO i popped the entire motor out through the fenderwell, it took roughly an hour including jacking up the car and tire on/off, plastic liner removal, then unbolting the motor, unplugging it, then when you have it out, theres one screw on the side, remove it and open carefully so you dont drop any of the internal pieces (some are loose) put it back together, put it back on the car etc.
