Shouldn't be too tough...

You need to support the engine with a jack (and something to spread the force) then just undo the bolt holding the mount to the subframe. Next undo the bolts holding the mount to the engine and wrestle the thing out. Reverse for install...May I be the first (of many) to recommend SHOnut extreeme reinforced mounts.

One last thing. You will need to remove the passenger wheel well cover to acces the motor mounts.

Good luck!

Ty, the procedure might be a little different for the ATX mounts. Also, there are no extreme mounts for the ATX. SHO Nut only sells them for the MTX version SHO.

motor mount reinforcement

You can just get some 3M 5200 marine caulk/adhesive, layer it in the motor mount, which will help keep it together. I think ShoNut uses silicone.

I started replacing my front motor mount on my ATX today, using the sho pheonix project instructions, come to find out that its different for the atx. Went to the library to get the manual for it and they were closed. But it looks like i just have to take the two (13mm or 15 mm) bolts off from the top and the one big nut on the bottom, is this right?
