Hey all,

Real quick one: I replaced my spark plugs last spring (about 12K miles ago?), and when doing so found oil in a number of plug wells (no surprise). I'm planning on doing the top end 60K work in the next month or two (including new plug wires and plug well seals, obviously), and just wondered if you'd recommend replacing the plugs again, or should I just clean up the ones that are in it (recheck gaps, etc.) and drive on?

Thanx in advance for any input.

Thanx guys,

I would just replace them, but with the cost of all of the other parts to complete the 60K work, I'm not looking to spend "extra" money if I don't have to (since I just replaced them last year). I just wanted to make sure that the plugs that are in it won't be "fouled" as a result of running with oil in the plug wells. I guess if I just clean them up (and recheck gaps) they'll be okay?

Thanx again,
