Which repair manuel is the best for SHO details? I need one soon! I am doing my 60K starting on Sunday and it might be useful (yeah, an understatement). Anybody got an extra?

What's wrong with Manuel? Is he sick? :D :D :D
shrug Helm is the official publisher of the Ford service manuals. It is the best all around manual for a Ford product. Mitchels, Motor, Chilton, Haynes, and a few others publish a decent manual. rangerj.

I use the SHO Forum one, I use the search feature then print it out and keep them together in sections. Usually there is some links to photos as well. I have one for 60k, one for codes, one for tie rod ends etc, and get new ones when problems occur. MUCH esair to understand for the average guy than the repair manuals IMO. That being said, thanks to all of the "authors" of my repair manuals :D

Ok, why is the helm $100 and the chilton $10-20? Is the helm that much better? Could somebody provide the ISBN from the Helm manual?

Yes.
Ok, why? Special for SHO? Looks cooler?
As was stated above, the Helm's manual is the official Ford shop manual -- the same ones your local Ford mechanics use. Since they are written for Ford mechanics, they are very thorough and cover every inch of the car, and all procedures are listed in a step-by-step manner. The Chiltons and Haynes manuals are very cursory in many aspects, aimed for the DIY'er, and the Haynes manual only briefly mentions the SHO at all. There is no ISBN as the manual is a limited-distribution publication direct from Helm.

FWIW, the Helms manuals are on eBay regularly in the $15-$30 range.
