hi my name is adam i recelntleydiscovered oil in the spark pluf wells so i am doing an overhaul. I am changing the intake gaskets and teh valve cover gaskets does anyone know hwere i can get the torque specs and part numbers for the intake andthe part numbers for the non reusable parts thanks adam

check out the welcome page of the shoforum, and go to the how-to's. There's a 60k list there by Scott Patterson listing the valve cover gasket PN's and the intake gasket PN's. As for the torque specs, I believe it's as little as 15 lb-ft, due to the aluminum you're threading into. Tools that you'll want will be a flat head screwdriver, 19mm open ended wrench, 15mm open ended wrench, 12mm open ended wrench, 12mm socket with an extension, 10mm socket, and a 5mm allen head socket. For the coolant hoses you'll want some channel locks and a long set of needlenose pliers if you have them. For extensions, have around 2.5' worth, to remove the IAB valve.
