Removing front wheel.

There is a large nut right in the middle of the 5 lug nuts. Do i have to remove this as well, what tool do i need?

Just to remove the wheel

No... dont touch that nut!

Just remove the 5 lug nuts to take the wheel off

That big nut takes a lot of force to move anyway.

That big nut is to attach wheel hub to CV joint/axle do not remove unless you plan on replacing the CV shaft When you do, you can obtain a special socket for it at any good parts store
