My fan went dead and iam seeing fan motors for sale,i figured that would be better than replacing the whole assembly because besides the motor not running the fan looks pretty good, but iam having a hard time removing the motor, it seems like its not really meant to be removed, anyone have any luck with this, iam I overlooking somthing ?

I about busted my fan up getting the motor out. I popped a hole through it with my screw driver and when I got it out I had to cut the shaft end down a bit with my dremel to get it back on.

Absolute worst experience in this whole entire process of my rebuild was that fan. When I replace it I'll just get a new blade or dremel the motor off of an old one.
