Any help would be appreciated, the@#%& cup holder unit will not budgr with the DIN radio tools, I would prefer not to tear it apart. My CD player is waiting. Thanks, Dave

I wish there were more to it than that, but that's all there is... stick the DIN tools in, wiggle, and yank. It can be very tough to do, especially if the plastic is old and brittle. Just keep on keepin' on, and you'll get it... eventually.

Thanks, just wanted to be sure that was the only thing holding it in. Dave

Still won't budge, am going to make a fixture to hold the radio tools spread the correct angle, then apply serious force to the cupholder.

are you moving the din tools side to side once there in? i mean are you applying a small amount of outward pressure? also sometimes you have to push it in a little to get the clips to clear

Pull out the radio/cdplayer whichever is directly above the cupholder. You should be able to get to the little clips holding that thing in from the back and release them.

Good luck....
