Remote Start with 2011

I'm still looking for a dealer that knows what to do. The one I got the car from is clueless.:braincramp:

I don't know why the push button start would make a difference. On my aftermarket Astro-start, it kills the engine if you apply the brake without turning the key. Then they can't get it out of park without it dieing. Seems it could be the same way-die when you apply the brake if the fob isn't sensed in the car.

As I posted in the other topic. It is an option on the remote start.

It is so you can start the car with either a regular key, or a "My Key" and have it do what it's supposed to do.

The option can be turned off. Some dealers will do it, some won't, if you know what your doing, you can do it yourself.

So Bank 1 option 2 gets set to negative? Its postive now.
Bank 1 option 3 key-in-sense polarity to negative? Its postive now.

That's what I think except bank 1 option 3 I would think you would want that Positive so the car can't leave without key? Maybe Bank 2 option 3 off for 15 min run time would be nice.
