Remote Keyless Entry Question...

On my '93, I have no keypad on the door, yet I have all the keyless entry documentation in the owner's manual booklet. There is a remote code in there, a card that explains the functions of the door keypad and a Ford Factory keyless entry installation manual. I thought all cars with keyless entry got a keypad? Or maybe it was in an accident and got the wrong door put on it Any help would be appreciated.

I have the SAME thing, except I bought a remote on E-Bay. I'm having a hard time programming it because I don't have the same hookup as those with a keypad.

I doubt you have the capability. I'd guess your original owners manual got lost, and that was out of a junk yard car or a parted out car.
Gen 2 cars without the keypad on the door don't have remote keyless entry capability(factory), just like my 93.
