remote entry light flash?

do our cars flash the parking lights when locking unlocking via remote? if i look at the front of the car, one of the bulbs light up ever so dimly but nothing else when locking, etc. this is on a 95 atx. thanks, i searched but didn't find anything.

My 95 atx does exactly the same thing. The very quick flash of my licence plate lights coincides with the beep of the horn.

Same with my 93, if you press lock, the lights will flash quickly and dimly, Never really bothered me, but of course I would of like to of had a nice bright flash...

Thats interesting I never really noticed that with either of our 94 ATX's. Hey if you get a 94 without a remote (one has one and the other doesn't) can you just get one programed for it? Or are some not equiped with that option?

yes.. its very simple.... I just did mine a few days ago....

I noticed it today as well... i think my passenger rear tail light blinks and the liscense plate light too... not sure on the front though...

On a side note, is there any way to get a better range with these remotes? Im sure my batteries could use replacing, but were dose the antenna run to?

so the consensus is that the remote keyless entry does not flash the parking lights.

maybe in the owners manual, there is a procedure to enable this, can anyone with a manual confirm this?

in my owner manuel they said when you lock the doors with the remote, and press the "LOCK" twice, the horn will honk and parking lights will flash.

My horn does honk, but my lights stay off, not even a very light dim.

tonight i tested them out...

Found that the tail lights flash(dim though) the liscense plate light flashes, and the fog lights flash. The fogs flash dim, but not as dim as the tail lights, and is noticeable... well at night at least.. havent tried it during the day.

huh...never noticed any flashing lights on the 93...i wonder if it matters if you have the autolamps enabled or not. I always turn the auto feature off...trust myself to turn the headlight **** more than the autolamps for some reason..

The megasquirt is liking the warmer weather a lot more. It still swills gas like a truck though, and I desperately want a new clutch this summer. The 6-puck can hold the power, but it engages extremely harsh. The pedal is basically a super stiff on/off switch.

The only thing i have that can capture video is my old digi cam...but I'll probably get a few vids of it and through em on putfile or something like that.

another thing i noticed with the RKE, is with the auto lamps on my parking lamps did flash slightly.
