Heres another example of reloacting the EATC.

I have my hard button EATC right above my head-unit and a 7" fold away touchscreen in place of the EATC. Worked out pretty good.

(sorry I suck at pictures)

were the wires plenty long enough to move the EATC or did you have to splice in extra wire?

i thought they were both too short, but then reached back a little and cut some tape and zip ties and the vacuum tubes were long enough (luckily) but the two wiring harnesses werent quite long enough so I spliced and crimped them (man that took forver, I now hate crimping :) ) But another member here who has a 93 as well had enough wiring (mabe different or I wasnt patient enough). You have to cut the tabs off the EATC though and I had to file the opening where the screen is a bit too.

Im pretty happy with it though thumb

swapping head unit with EATC

Yes, That is the best place for any head unit, and I plan to install my EATC in the area where the cigarette lighter and cassette storage is, next to the console, so that area where stock radio/CD is can be opened up for a center channel for surround sound; I have a 4" bass and a tweeter for the area, also a 5 1/4" bass if it will fit. Perfect set up for good sounding center channel rather than having to use the crappy tiny speakers usually seen due to space constraints.
Will the hoses and wires go as far as the bottom area where the cigarette lighter is??

I doubt it, I had hard enough time getting it to where it is now. You may have to splice new wires on and extend the eatc vacuum hoses
