hey everyone

I have heard of people on their cars getting the interior redone, such as the seats to a more softer leather, which my gen 3 could really use, also, that they have taken their cars to places that repainted the interior and trim and all that to make it almost look stock, now i have tried the interior paint, and helped my friend out on his mustang by doing everything ourselves, and i really would like a different interior color for my sho, does anybody know where this can be done at, or what place??? arg, i hate to rip apart the interior and spray, lol, thanks again!! :p

Look into a local upholstery shop. There should be a handful around, many advertise as doing marine interiors (the most common custom interior work). Check the place's portfolio (look at pictures) before commiting to anything. Better yet, try to look at some of their completed work.

If nothing else, I know for a fact that Roush does custom interior/leather/vinyl work. I couldn't tell you how to get a hold of the area that does that type of work though. Good luck- sounds like a sweet project!

Before you go to the trouble and expense of putting new leather on the seats, you might consider trying one of the various leather conditioner and softener type products. Maybe $10 and some elbow work instead of $1000 plus and lots of time in the shop.

Just a thought.

Try using the meguires Aloe Leather cleaner and then finish with the Meguires Aloe Leather conditioner. Makes the leather soft and gives it a nice gloss.
