Make sure its connected on the other end, not just to the sending unit. If so Check the bulb. Last ditch would be making sure you got a good sending unit. I got one laying around somewhere if you need one. I have an oil pressure gauge so I have no need for it.

Jeff, isn't the 1 wire hook up tied in with the fuel injection wiring harness? If it is, mabye the grounding strap under the intake and fuel rails? Just thinking out loud.

i suspect a bad connection on the gauge cluster. my OD light does not work. i replaced the bulb, tried it before putting all back together... no go. i pulled another one of the bulb housings out of a working hole, and still no go. i didnt look to far into it because i dont turn off o/d anyway, and if i did, i would know.

p.s. yes my OD switch has been rewired and does actually work.
