Hey Y'all,

I live a pretty active life and so i'm running out of cargo room in my '19 SHO. Does anyone have a recommendation on a roof rack?

So yeah, I'm getting into (or since returning to) a lot of action sports (surfing, skiing, etc.) where i'm reaching a point where I want to park the trunk for a long drive, and have the rack setup to carry whatever sport it is we're going for.

I did some digging around and I think i'm going with a set of Aerobars from etrailer.com. They seem like a strong yet light and aerodynamic set of bars.

This is my SHO before it belonged to me. Roof rack and hitch were gone when I bought it and have no clue what type of rack the previous owner used but the pic might give you some ideas.

My ride is black; I already look like a cop..I don't wanna trade for F150 because they aren't a smooth ride in comparison. jman's pic shows that this could be a super dope mod.

Who told you the f150 isn't smooth ride? Its softer and handles better than an HR SHO. Add some meaty tires and you can go curb jumping without spilling your drink.

Handles better than a sho? Absolutley no way a truck can throw itself through turns as fast as the sho.
I am not saying that the sho handles like a true sports car, but its also not gonna roll over either.

The question becomes...with a few aftermarket bolt ons, such as hellwig sway bars, belltech lowering kit, and nitto 315/35r20s can the truck beat the car on the track?

But the reality is on the daily driver street, the stock truck is very comparable and the real question is rough pothole typical streets, jagged patched highways, uneven curb entryways, chunks of tire on the interstates.... yeah I'd say the truck wins.

My F-350 Diesel rides as good as my SHO, plus much more suspension travel

I enjoy my truck and sedan for different reasons. My super crew f150 is actually more comfortable (& more room for back seat passengers) and rides great on the road compared to the old sho sedan. It does not handle better for certain. There is some geometry and physics involved. That said, for active driving pleasure the car imo is better. For overall comfort and utility, this truck has been my favorite vehicle ever (except for gas mileage). So I agree with both High and Angry in vehicle concept, and as states of consciousness

I have Rhino Rack roof racks for my SHO and they work perfect for almost anything from kayaks to hauling some lumber lol
