ok heres the situation i purchased aluminum sub frame bushings and i know that they go hand in hand with the recall kits. the thing is that i checked and my car already has the recall kits installed and recently from the way it looks. there is no rust on the bolts etc. (ive only had the car a few months).

anyway is it necessary that i get another recall kit?

can i just go ahead and put in the alsfb or am i going to encounter problems later on?

thanks for those who respond.

I'd pick up a recall kit for the front of the car just in case. The original hardware on the front of the subframe was not covered under any recall. Years of rust and salt will make them a pain to come out. Unless of course you had a clutch done recently, in which case things should be loose. The hassels saved by forking out $16 at the deal might just be worth it so you don't have to run out after you've begun the job.

You can just get new bolts too. I did this for the front of my '97. About $3.00 each IIRC.

Here is the part number... N804442-S426
