Well I will be replacing the slipping atx with a rebuilt one soon, and I want to take care of some maintenance stuff while its out.

I know I'll be replacing the o2 sensors while its out, since I hear the rear one in the atx is a ***** to get to.

Anyone have suggestions.. maybe the Vehicle Speed Sensor, things of that sort?

Im still doing some search on what fluid to use.
So any suggestions will do,
thanks

Check the motor mounts for sure. How about the subframe bushings, what's their status?

I cant say i've checked them, but i know they not shot, but now that you bring it up, i think im gonna go with some gen3 bushings, i've had the aluminum ones, and although it makes a night/day diff, they do make the cabin noisier.

I hear you. I tried the aluminum subframe bushings on my SHO and then switched to Gen III bushings. Great decision on my part. ;)

Replace the VSS for certain.

A new filter and gasket on the bottom pan is a good idea.

I'd also replace the axle shaft seals while the tranny is on the bench.

Replace any transmission or motor mounts that are suspect along with your subframe bushings.

If your steering rack is questionable, replace it and the hoses now.

In addition to what Steve mentioned, I would also replace the rear main oil seal while the tranny was out.
