headgaskets need to be for a 3.2L
other gaskets need to be for a 3.0L
id buy the 3.0L upper gasket set then sell the headgaskets on EBAY
they'll fetch some fair coin, almost enough to buy your 3.2 headgaskets.

Thanks for the info. I will email RCM to see if he can substitute the 3.2 gaskets with the 3.0 kit. Thanks again :thumb:

Ok, i got a replay from Mark at RCM. He said that the 3.2 upper gasket set is 3.2 head gaskets with everything else being 3.0 stuff.

what are the benefits of swapping 3.0 heads on a 3.2?

The rear heads are identical. The front head differs near where the alternator is allowing the 3.2 accessory setup to work. Some people just saw a bit off the 3.2 head to allow it to work with a 3.0 accessory setup. Apart from that the only difference is that the 3.0 cams are slightly more aggressive....but it is easier to swap cams, rather than heads.
