I have a the shop at school to use but what I'm really wondering is how much $. I actually have 0$ but things change fast when your in need. So I guess my question is that simple. How much is the rebuild kit for the tranny (with out clutch or throw out bearing). How much for a low milage ( if I can find one) mtx?
Thanks a million?

I couldn't tell you exactly how much a low mileage tranny would be. But if you haven't destroyed your MTX then I would say rebuild it. It will be in like new condition after your done. This company here http://yp.bellsouth.com/sites/southerngear/html/merchandise_services_provided.html sells a complete rebuild kit i believe. Give them a call and see what they say. I think the kit for syncros blocking rings and the whole sha-bang is like $250 to $300. Check them out.

I second that, definitely rebuild yours instead of buying a used one.Your probably looking at $1000 or more though

rebuild kit-$300
labor to rebuild-$250
clutch-$220(shonut)
labor to R&R tranny into the car-$250

I'm just guessing at those numbers but it should be in the ballpark.
