hi guys - '91 SHO and I'm doing the valve cover and plug gaskets/upper 60k for the first time. When I removed the intake I found that the wiring harness on the back passenger side was just hanging. However, it looks like the bracket (black) that hold the wiring should attach to the upper hole for the intake bracket. Is this the case? The pic below shows mine just hanging there. It appears that the black bracket will sort of scrape the valve cover if it is just bolted up in the top. Am i missing anything else? Thanks.

That black bracket is supposed to mount on the head where the intake bracket bolt goes. There is supposed to be a stud that holds the black bracket and the intake bracket together and tightens them down to the head. Then a nut goes on to the stud to hold the ground strap in place.

ah, okay, thanks. So it goes on the stud that hold the ground wire also, got it.
hmm, the wiring that goes to the fuel injectors doesn't allow it to go down that low it appears.

I just found that in my '91 Shop manual the stud is only on the top bolt bracket to the intake (not the head).

Maybe it was the top hole that the ground strap went to. I removed my intake brackets long ago. My ground strap goes to the head now where the harness bracket is bolted.
