I'm replacing my motor mounts right now and don't know how to replace the rear one. Does anybody have any info on that? It looks like a pita to get to.

It's really easy. just take off the P-side wheel and remove the wheel well cover.

From there you can see the mount.

Support the engine with a jack. Use a 2x4 to spread out the force.

Remove the bolt holding the rear mount to the subframe.

Loosen the bolts in the front mount to allow some flex.

Jack up the engine a couple of inches, watch for interferences.

Remove remaining bolts for the rear mount. Then wrestle with that mount until it comes out. Take notice of its position and orentation before removal.

Wrestle the new one in there and reverse the steps. You may want to tighten the front and rear bolts in progressive amounts like you would tighten lug nuts.

Good luck!

wrestle is a very good description. mine took about 2 hrs, 1 1/2 hrs wrestling time. I had a handicapped match with the dead blow hammer as my tag partner.
