Rear bumper cover flex?

I had a minor (door, mirror, etc)side swipe aboit a month ago. The rear bumper was repaired and painted. Now when I use the trunk release swith near the license plate, the whole bunper cover shifts up ans out a little bit. I dont use that button often, but I dont remember it moving at all.

Can one of tou kind people go pull straight up on the outer edge of the license plate cutout on your rear bumper cover and ket me know if you have zero flex or a little movement?

I use mine semi frequently, can tell you mine does not have any movement. Bumper is solid.

I would suggest, open your trunk and see if the clips attaching the bumper are in place. Also from below the car, should have 2 tabs connecting the cover to the body, I've had one of those break on my first '11 SHO.
