So I have some clear electrical tape, some aluminized tape, and some wire loom. Has anyone ever used aluminized tape to re-wrap the rear harness and does this protect or insulate from heat?

What about wrapping the rear coils with the same aluminized tape also, think that would help with the heat also?

your better off buying the actual fiberglass wire wrap if your going to all the trouble. anything else is just a bandaid to a bigger problem.

Yep- hit the hot rod store and do it right the first time, it's worth the hassle and cost...

I was thinking, wrap with the clear electrical tape, then with the aluminized tape, and maybe cover it all up with the wire loom. I was going to do the front also and wrap the wires inside the plastic cover as well. I have a lot of time on my hands right now, so I figured I would do this, just want to do it right.
