Hi everybody,

I hope everyone is having a terrific summer.

ok, I finally installed the Tokico and Eibach suspension that I had laying in my basement for a year. Unfortunately I'm finding the ride to be a bit rough. Everytime I hit a bump or even a small *** hole ::BOOM::.

I had asked someone else from the forum about this problem and he said that the ride is supposed to be like that. It is much stiffer than stock.

It could just be my location that makes driving difficult. (NJ and NY) Driving on the crossbronx and route 22 is no joke.

I just wanted some feedback from you guys.

Okay, I have a second issue. I was dumb enough to put my back wheel (passenger side) during the night. The friggin car jack slipped and after I installed the wheel my car makes this rattling "jingling" noise. Its kinda like a chain rattling. I haven't located any loose or broke parts. I can't pin point the culprit. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and remedied the situation?

Thanx

oh yea, btw new suspension mounts WERE installed when i installed the tokicos.

I agreee that it's the roads, and modding out your suspension for a daily driver doesn't pay off when the roads are that poor; Similar road problems for us Chitown folks too; can't really set up your daily driver car to be so stiff on such *** hole laden excuses for roads; you'll get sick of the harsh ride quickly and your car will turn into a rattle trap before long too.

22 isn't that bad (used to live in north plainfield.) Just gotta try and drive around the *** holes, which even on stock suspension isnt a bad idea if you want to maintain your alignment. Are you running a short sidewall tire?

Yea I guess 22 isnt as bad as BX river pkwy (the portion that actually in the bx) Not to mention local roads in the bronx are nasty.

My side walls are normal, there is plenty of air cushion between the rim & road. I'm gonna be swapping out my O2 sensors this week, so i'll take another gander at what ever might be loose under the car...

The noise is so annoying.
