It says "Ideal for use on interior trim, seats, consoles, floor mats, dash panels, fabric seats and carpeting"
They say its for renewing "the color of vinyl, simulated leather and fabric":DI wonder how well it would coat?
Enough to change the interior color?:evil_gri:I got mocha inter.:naughty: Id like black or the evergreen:****:

I want all opinions
THx for your time

I don't know if thats the stuff to use, my friend recolored the interior trim peices of his 79 Trans Am with that, and you couldn't tell the diffrence between them and the factory ones his dad had. Jason(Yamahasho) just recolored some trim peices for his "beater" and it seemed to turn out good, maybe you could talk to him?

I did a lot of interior painting with that exact product.

The cubby on the door, the window switch panel, the upper panel with the side mirror control and the little triangular piece, the door sill trim (the whole piece that runs from front to the rear seats, that runs up the side under the seat belt), the metal plate under the steering wheel, the glove compartment, and the center console lid have all been painted with duplicolor vinyl paint.

I'm not sure if you can tell very well in the pics, but the paint leaves a very nice sheen, and doesn't flake or peel, except for on the center console lid, I can't get paint to stay on it.

EDIT: Oh and take it from me...the desert sand DOES NOT match mocha, no matter what the color looks like on the lid of the can. Again, the desert sand color DOES NOT match mocha.

I know from experience, and is the reason why I ended up doing the black on tan look. I originally wanted to spruce up a few sun faded panels, I tried the desert sand, and it looked like **** compared to the rest of the mocha interior. So I went and grabbed a few cans of black and went to town.

It works great on carpet. I wouldn't use it on leather. I replaced the seats for that. I am also putting in different door skins.

Well when it come time ill try it out. Ill post the results. I think ill do the drivers seat first. Its the worst in the car. If it doesnt work then ill just get covers for the front.
Do they make rear seat covers to fit this car?

Wait did you paint a mocha steering wheel black? I looks really good if you did. Not to mention the fact that if u did, that will make up my mind on painting over the mocha for sure.

I'm having second thoughts about it, I have cloth seats and I never thought the paint will paint over those lines in the pattern, it'll look weird like that...
