I was wondering if anybody new how to tell if the factory amp was bypassed. I am really tired of not having my sub working.

pull the radio and check the wiring.

I looked at the diagrams , went in the trunk , cut the inlet-outlet wires , and re-matched them (over the amp). it worked.

To see if it's bypassed, don't look at the head unit end, look at the amps in the trunk.

If the amps have been bypassed, it will be immediately obvious as a bypass harness likely will have been used.
