I would suggest finding a friend or seeing if there's another forum member close to you that is a "whiz" with electronics. I had the same problem when i bought my SHO. It took my buddy almost 3 hours to fix it! He had worked at best buy installing many stereos & what not + he's been messing with wires & stuff since he was forever. He said my wiring job was one of the worst he'd ever seen! Alot of trial & error to get everything to work. Good thing he's my friend b/c a local stereo shop quoted me 400+ to get it working properly. He only charged me a 12 pack:beer: If you have an aftermarket headunit like I do it's basicly matching up all the color wires...many look the same though, esspecially to the untrained eye!
Hope this helps:thumb:

the best thing to do is to get the power going to the unit...put in a CD or whatever...get it going first. then take the other wires for what would be the speakers and just touch them together one at a time and hear the rear and the front and however it sounds best. but to do this...you will need a plug cut out of another sho. or take it to someone..and don't bother with the hassle. but we have switched out many many many radios (over 10 shos) and there is always something someone has done to make it a umm b*tch. good luck though, i think you will be able to get the plug and just get the ground and the hot and start playing around with how it sounds in all 4s of the car. good luck. but i think you will need to find a sho plug.
