Well, I had an A/C problem and fixed it under the dash. Since then my radio will not work. It was working perfectly fine before that and the fuse is good too.

Nothing on the face will display like the radio station and ect. The only lighting is when the parking lights are on, it's has the surrounding green light. The radio is also one from a 93 SHO in an 89 SHO. As said, it was working just fine then all of the sudden it quit.

Any ideas? I tried searching every time I had a chance for the past week, but nothing was helpful. :frown:

Have you tried the power button??

J/K...if it isnt coming on, that means you either dont have power (battery or switching) or ground. Only those 3 wires could cause it to not come on. You checked the fuse in the panel? You checked the in-line fuse (some, not all have)?

Fuse is good, battery is good, but where is the inline fuse?

And yes, I've tried the power button. ;)

Try pulling the radio and checking the connections in the back. There is a chance you knocked one loose while working on the a/c controls. If it is like mine, there isn't a lot of slack in the wires, so the smallest bump can knock the connection loose.

Well, this one is a stange one.

I checked the connections for power and it was there, just no radio...yet it worked fine before the A/C deal. So, I swapped the radio out with an aftermarket I use to have in there and now everything works. I then went to install the one that I just pulled out back in the 93 SHO and it, too, works. I guess my 89 didn't like the 93 radio and wanted back the one its been using for a couple years. :shrugs:

Anyhow, thanks for the suggestions guys! I been needing this done so I can have music on my weekly trips [easy to fall asleep at the wheel without], one which is tomorrow.
