Oh please help me... '90 model, I think I'm missing a connector. I'm just trying to put in a cheap radio to get by with.

Heres what I got...

Upper DIN: grey connector with(as I look at it) green/yello, black, yello/black, blue/red, orange/black, red, orange/light blue, blue.

Lower DIN: black connector w/red back: red, black, blue/red, green/yellow, orange/light blue. (CD player??)

Here's the kicker... Upper DIN: one bundled grey wire with(in no particular order)white/green, purple/white, yellow, brown, ***** wire, white/orange, light blue, green, lightblue/black. Is this my speakers??? or an amp wire???:banghd::banghd:

I have no amp in trunk.

If I have to, I'll just re wire the fronts. I have no rear speakers, so I'll probably have to do them anyhow.:cuss:

Never mind... I took the door panel off to trace those wires, and it has some Blapunkt overdrive speakers with thick gauge wire. So I know what I have in store for me...

Thanks anyway:salute:

Alright, I still need some help...

The door speakers were cut, but looked liked they were wired straight to th radio w/ aftermarket cable.

So I hook up the cheap radio I have, power,switched, and ground through the factory harness adapter I bought.

I ran both door speakers, and the two rear speakers out of my Mazda(not installed) wired straight to the radio. Radio works and shows that it's picking up the local station, but NO SOUND!!!:banghd:

I have no Idea why it wouldn't work this way. This radio worked in the Mazda...

Wouldn't this affectively bypass the amp? (If It had one, it's gone now...)

HELP:wave::wave:

one bundled grey wire with(in no particular order)white/green, purple/white, yellow, brown, ***** wire, white/orange, light blue, green, lightblue/black. Is this my speakers??? If you can see the color of these wires, then someone has hacked the wire harness. If your getting no sound from your speakers you and you have connected the speaker wires from the above wire harness which is the amp harness you woll get no sound. there should be a black connector in there as well. If you dont have the factory jbl amp in the trunk you use that connector for your speakers. atleast my 94 has both. the blue wire from the grey connector is your amp turn on lead.
