Just buy a new one. Easiest thing to do is go down to Autozone and buy one. About $150 with a lifetime warranty (you'll need it if you keep the car!) They usually have one in stock. If you really hunt around you can find them cheaper from online vendors. But that price isn't bad and you'll have a really easy time with warranty replacements down the road because Autozone's are everywhere and like I said, they usually have one of these radiators in stock at all times.

Charliejon,

When SHOJAUN talks about SHOs it is best to listen.

For what you would pay to have your radiator serviced you could have a new radiator for a few bucks more. Listen to SHOJAUN and get a new radiator.

When you install the new radiator be very careful when you bolt on the fan schroud. On the driver's side the bolt is mounted in the radiator side tank. If you overtighten this nut you can crack the tank, or it could crack later from the stress. Just snug the nut on the bolt. rangerj

I picked up a Go-Dan built replacement rad @ Advance Auto here in Omaha for $130 and some change - comes with a lifetime warranty and looked to be a good unit. Has hookups for the ATX too.

(Mine started leaking along the seams on the drivers side, too)

Prices vary between different autozones for these. They probably figure in shipping costs since it's a bulky item when it's all boxed up. I paid about $150, maybe a little less for a GDI, Go-Dan radiator from my local autozone.

And rangerj, thanks for the compliment! :) FWIW, you probably know quite a bit more about these cars and automotive repair work in general than I do! :p

according to A-Zs website, the price is the same no matter what zip code i give them. im sure they could be found locally for less money. right after i was L.O.R.D with a busted radiator, a fellow LSSHOC member had the same failure, and found his for something like 120. he got his here in the Dallas/Ft Worth area, i got mine in a small town A-Z.

You'll be much happier if you buy new.

I've had excellent luck with Radiators.com . All of their radiators are guaranteed to meet or beat all OEM specifications for fit, quality, and cooling capacity, and come with a lifetime guarantee.

I ordered a radiator from them for a '93 Ranger and got it within two days, and it looked EXACTLY like the one I pulled out. It's been in there for six months and works GREAT!

You might give them a call to make sure you get the right radiator for your car - I noticed they list a different one for the 3.2 ATX vs. all other models of Tauri. The 3.2 one is $149 and the one listed for all other models is $115.

Good luck!
