Well time has come for me to search for a new radiator as both of the tanks ony my car's radiator are leaking.

I did a search and found a thread, IIRC, that the radiators for the Vulcan 3.0 and 3.8L from SLO Taurus can be used in the SHO. (I have an ATX)

I've also been doing some picture comparisons between them and they seem the same shape, widht, etc.

So what is the difference between the SLO an SHO radiators if any?

The only difference is in the police package radiator. It has more cores and is thicker which makes for a very tight fit in the MTX cars.

When I had to put a new rad in the Trans cooler fittings were incorrect in still leak to this day, not sure if it's a MTX radiator or if its a SLO radiator

Great, so it looks like I can use the Vulcan and/or 3.8L radiator in my AXT right?

Just make sure you get one for a Gen1 or Gen2 and it will fit. In your case, i would look for a Rad. for a Vulcan and not a SHO. You want to make sure that the new Rad. has connections for the trans cooler.

Great, thanks a lot for the info guys! ;)

Luckly finding a radiator for a Vulcan Taurus here in Mexico is not hard, I already found one through a friend of mine. $130 in total already installed along with new coolant, 90 day guarantee.

Well time has come for me to recrimp the radiator as both of the tanks ony my car's radiator are leaking.

Fixed that for you. Vice grips, set them so they compress each tab about 1/16 of an inch, work your way all the way around.

I thought of that until I saw that the driver side tank has a crack on top that runs from the aluminum to the outter side... so that side's tank has to be replaced anyways.

I haven't checked if the passenger's side is cracked or not.
