So while I am at this point, I am wondering..... Do I pull the core support, or just reach in there with a decently firm brush and scrub that bad boy.

Which would yeild better effort to quailty results.

On a side note, it took me 7hrs over 2 days to strip this car. I got more pics if anyone wants me to post them. Oh and another thing, there are 6 or 8 crap retainers to hold the bottom windsheild covers on yet there are about 8 plastic screw retainers, 1 metal screw, and 17 plastic clips to hold each set of rocker panels on, what's the deal with that?

I might say, if youre already that deep remove the core support and lift the front to be able to blow air or to wash the radiator from top and bottom.
Good luck with the cleaning:)

p.s. Have you found my 12mm socket down there?

wow J thx for posting that info, it makes me feel alot better. in my maiden voyage it took my 3 hours roundtrip and I thought that was easily 3 times too long.

and I'm an ******. as evidenced by my failure to take advantage of that time to clean my radiator !

Just pull the radiator out all together.
And just get a new one while your at it. They are cheap enough that the cost of a new one is a drop in the bucket compared with the labor of cleaning the old one.

And lightly recrimp the end tank crimps a bit more before putting it in.

I dented the front left QP in Feb, and I am repainting the car.

When I bought it the rear bumper must have been resprayed. Through the 50K I've had it a lot of pant has flaked off, and the dorrs have scratches along the seams, and well... I really wanted to learn. so Im doing the whole car. As of the moment it is going to be the same white but with blue pearl in the clearcloat.

I watched Joe Dirt two days ago and now I almost want to paint is hugger orange and get a CF cowl.

I CREATED A NEW POST FOR THE PAINTING.

Cool! Looks like a lot of work but a lot of fun though. I would like to repaint my SHO in the future. The black is getting a bit worn, small scratched and dings and so on, not very noticable but noticable to me.

Hmmmm.... only "relatively" successful boosting of a GIII that I'm aware of is Carters, and he has routinely had ancillary issues since then. However, after driving his "Whoosh" it's a heck of a ride but not easy to add boost. Better be ready to do some tranny mods while you are at it. Your'e going to need them as well as bigger brakes on the front. IMHO!

The car is still at the same stage as the pic in post #1. I am still trying to figure out how to remove the radiator from the fronT. I think I am missing some bolts, but I just can find them? and suggestions?

HotRodKid - Ill try and get those measurements tomorrow

The thing is, the way I am trying to do it will be easier, if all I have to do is remove the core support.

I was just trying to figure out what I was missing cause I still cant get it out.

No, bottom is correct way. In the current stage of disassembly of your car, you're looking at about 10-15 minutes to pull it out the bottom. Just do it. I'm not aware that it even can come out the top.
