anybody have any luck at trying to make one (like whats on v8sho.com)?
I am not very crafty, but my condensor SEEMS to be in need of cleaning. I have no cooling issues, but I took a peek at the radiator, and boy is it filthy... so I would like to know how to fab. a similar tool.

Would a good degreaser and a strong jet of water work? You are talking about the outside right?

I reckon that would work for the condensor, but the radiator, I dunno.

If your condenser is cruddy... oh man, just wait 'til you see the radiator! :frown: I would probably just replace the whole radiator if I had to take the front end apart anyway.

Here's what I used. Since you only have about a skinny pinkie finger's width between the condenser and the radiator, I took a yard stick, thinner the better, removed metal end cap off stick, don't want to chance damage to fins. Super glued soft steel wool to both sides, not a lot of wool , just enough to fit between, about 2" on stick. Brushed out with this then hosed it down with water hose until water came out easily the front of of condenser and rear of radiator. Be sure to wear old clothes because it is very messy. Unless you like the taste of hard dried bug innards wear mouth protection. Have fun.
