Have posted a few threads before and really love it here. SO cool to be in this "club" with so many knowledgeable SHO people. Decided to "restore" my 92 MTX (175K) for ME, but need some input. Am going to throw in a new radiator (leaks, but thats common on OE rads anyway) before my trek to Perfomance Plus (Chgo to Madison) and have not really looked at rad install issues yet.

Are they a ***** to put in? What surprises await me or is it just a regular afternoon install? Also was thinking about them putting in the 73 MM MAF. I don't race it, but like kicking it in the ass sometimes (don't we all?) around town. Is it worth the money to do it and is the HP increase really that impressive? Just wondering what the real driving impressions are with it versus the OE one. Seems like a lot of you already have one. Also what does the Dynamax cat back system PPlus sells sound like. I know it will never sound like a throaty V8 with Flowmasters, but I don't want it to sound like the popcorn machine rice grinders these young kids drive with the coffee-can resonators sticking out the back either. Thanks!

The radiator is an easy job. Took me about an hour, but mine had severe damage. Also, if you search you'll find the 73MM MAF often makes SHOs lose power.
