I know, yet another quick question from me...

On the SHO nut clutch instructions it says to make sure that the upper bushing is not binding. Does that mean the bushing itself is supposed to rotate freely in the tranny, or can i just pound the bushing (gently) in there ( i dont see why not).

Thanks again,
David

DONT pound it in. I did this just a few weeks ago and found out the hard way. Chances are you have oxidation or corrosion built up in the bushing seat, like I did. I pounded the bushing in okay but the clutch fork shaft would not go through, and I ruined the bushing trying to get it out. Clean out the bushing seat with a small wire brush or sandpaper until you can slip the bushing on without to much effort.
