Quick Fix for the wide flares ... PICS! UPDATED

I recently purchased a 25MM spacer from H&R to kick out the rear wheels a bit.
They were ordered as a volvo spacer for the 700/900 volvo. I still have about another 25MM i can push the wheel out but i will have to redo the flares. I had already have to shave down the inside a bit because it was shreding my tires where it was hitting. Now its not a problem since i fixed that.

Here are some pics ....

No matter how many times I see it I love that orange on the SHO. the exhaust tips are a little large for my taste however, but all in all nice work on the car! any pics from the side more with the spacers installed?

I have an alternative to those spacers :naughty: , http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FERR...ewItemQQcategoryZ66484QQitemZ8064207895QQrdZ1 , I saw these wheels on eBay and I thought of your SHO, your flares in the rear are wider than those in the front right? Well if they are wider in the rear these wheels would be the perfect solution :thumb:. They look pretty nice  and you can't beat that price :dribble:. But anyways love the car and keep up the good work.

We actually got in a Ferrari 550 Maranello where i work. Happen to come in right before i started finishing the shaving on the inner quarter panel wells.I tested one of the rear wheels... I need larger wheel studs ... they fit but it seems that it will fill up the hole thing but i will need to do alot more shaving. The spacer i have was enough where i cleared the strut. And they are 18X10 too!

The reason there is alot of shaving being done is because thats how the flares were left once molded ... with alot of extra material. And since i didnt have an actual wheel to work with we did not know how exactly to finsh the flare... so far so good.

I can't wait to see that beauty when it has wheels that stick out wide as the fenders. :)

I bought them and was hoping they'll help bring my rear wheels out flush to the fender like the fronts. Nice to know they'll work whenever they get here :thumb:

What'd you pay for yours if you don't mind me asking?

Adam

Just remember that i had 60MM of extra space to play with because of the flares. I still have about another 30mm needed to fit flush with the flares. I paid 120 +shipping.

By the way here is a pic of the ferrari i tried the rear wheels from ...
